Privacy Policy

Mailat for Mac, iPhone and iPad · Effective 23 October 2026

Mailat is an email and calendar app made by Zone Platform. It is built so that we never see your mail. We don't run servers for Mailat, we don't have Mailat accounts, and we don't collect, sell or share your data.

What stays on your devices

Your messages, attachments, calendars, contacts in your mail, search history, categories and settings are stored on your device. The app connects directly to the mail and calendar services you add (for example iCloud, Gmail, Outlook or your own mail server) to send and receive your mail and events. Those services handle your data under their own privacy policies.

What goes through your iCloud

If iCloud is on, Mailat keeps your account settings in your private iCloud database and your passwords or sign-in tokens in your iCloud Keychain, so your accounts appear on your other devices. This data is stored by Apple in your own iCloud account; we can't access it.

Sign in with Google or Microsoft

When you sign in with Google or Microsoft, you sign in on their page. Mailat receives a token that lets it reach your mail and, if you allow it, your calendars. The token is stored in your iCloud Keychain and used only by the app on your devices. Mailat's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

AI features

Sorting and smart search use Apple's on-device model where available; your mail isn't sent anywhere for this. If you turn on the local AI connection on your Mac, AI apps you choose (such as Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini or Perplexity) can read or act on your mail through a server that runs only on your Mac, with permissions you set and a log of every request. What those apps do with the information is covered by their own privacy policies.

Purchases

Subscriptions are handled by Apple through the App Store. We don't receive your payment details.

No tracking, no analytics

Mailat contains no advertising, analytics or tracking code. Remote images in messages, which senders can use to see when you open mail, are blocked until you choose to load them.

Deleting your data

Removing an account in Mailat deletes its mail and saved password from your devices. Deleting the app removes everything stored on that device. Mail on your provider's servers is not affected.

Children

Mailat is not directed to children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone.

Changes and contact
